Eight races, one Sunday morning. From the iconic, AIMS-certified half marathon to the kids' 900m sprint — Il-Ġirja t'Għawdex has a start line for everyone.

We have coordinated seamless transit with Gozo Channel so you can focus entirely on your run. Here is how your race morning flows.
Catch the 05:45am ferry from Cirkewwa (Malta). It is the only crossing that arrives in time for the 06:30am shuttle departure from the Gozo harbour.
Free shuttles depart Mgarr Harbour at 06:30am. Driving? Park at Xewkija Racecourse; shuttles run every 10 mins from 06:30am to 07:20am.
Enjoy your race, cross the finish line in Xagħra Square, collect your medal and goody bag, and soak in the festive atmosphere.
Return shuttles to Mgarr Harbour leave Xagħra Square at 10:30am, 11:30am, and 12:30pm. Park & Ride shuttles run until 12:00pm.
