# Run Gozo — il-Ġirja t'Għawdex

> Malta's longest-running road race since 1977. The 52nd edition of il-Ġirja t'Għawdex (the Gozo Half Marathon) takes place on Sunday, 25 April 2027, starting and finishing in Xagħra Square, Gozo. AIMS-certified half marathon and 10K with Athletics Malta Gold Label status, plus 5K races, walkathons, family run and kids' races. 100% volunteer-run by the Xagħra Youth Centre. Every entry funds the Fair Play Initiative — a programme that has raised over €37,000 for a sports arena in Guatemala and supported six Maltese charities.
